Robotic WeldingAcquisition in december 2006 of a 4th welding robot with positionner.The use of robotic welders allows us to get very high quality welds with constancy. Even the most complex or irregularly shaped parts get welded with high precision. Since 1993, the company uses the 6 axis robotic welders with a 10’ displacement capacity and a precision of ± 0.004 (4 thousandth of an inch). The use of this equipment, compared to manual welding, allows a much better control of the welding temperature, which in turn greatly reduces parts distortion or warping during welding. Consequently, the number of rejected parts during the quality control process is also immensely reduced. Another advantage of the use of robotic welders is that welding of very large parts or parts with irregular shapes can always be done with the same high precision. An extensive expertise in robotic welding was acquired along the years through the numerous and varied contracts obtained by the company. Furthermore, a yearly renewed Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) accreditation and the rigorous use of its norms translates in first quality work for our customers.
